Meeting of V4 group in Brno
SPCleantech participated on 14.12 2022 in a meeting in Brno in Czech Republic. Four partners from Visegrad countries – SPCleantech, Czech Smart City Cluster, Slovak Smart City Cluster and Digitalis Jolet nonprofit from Hungary met to discuss and coordinate progress in the project “Smart V4 Strategies”, which was awarded financing support from the Visegrad Fund.
The aim of the project is to connect relevant partners in the given area of SMART strategies and prepare procedures for classification of SMART strategies in V4 countries into one complex database portal. The project offers V4 partners international cooperation in unifying SMART strategies to GreenDeal/SDG rules. The vision is to strengthen the unity and effectiveness in implementation of SMART strategies in all V4 countries.
Current state of the project:
- We have translated the structure of the SmartCities Concept (pillars, chapters, objectives and measures) into languages: EN/CZ/SK/PL/HU
- For each “Objective” we have created a set of dictionary terms and phrases that represent and describe the “Objective”. The dictionaries are in EN/CZ/SK/PL/HU (we have performed automatic AI cross- translation, but a physical check by the project partners will be needed)
- In the Czech Republic, we have mapped the compliance of 95 Smart Strategies (cities, regions, counties) with the SmartCities Concept. We have carried out a complete analysis of the profiles of Smart Strategies in the Czech Republic.
- We have also successfully tested 10 pilot Smart Strategies from Slovakia.
