Smart V4 Strategies

South Poland Cleantech Cluster participates in a newly started Visegrad project together with partners – Czech Smart City Cluster, Slovak Smart City Cluster and Digitalis Jolet nonprofit from Hungary. The project “Smart V4 Strategies” was awarded financing support from the Visegrad Fund.

The aim of the project is to connect relevant partners in the given area of SMART strategies and prepare procedures for classification of SMART strategies in V4 countries into one complex database portal. The project offers V4 partners international cooperation in unifying SMART strategies to GreenDeal/SDG rules. The vision is to strengthen the unity and effectiveness in implementation of SMART strategies in all V4 countries.

South Poland Cleantech Cluster

SPCleantech is co-founder of European Alliance for Cross- Industrial Circular Economy Investments (ICEI Alliance) consisting of European clusters and universities. During 2020-2021 there have been held meetings to prepare the establishment of the European Alliance for Cross- Industrial Circular Economy Investments, hosted by the Circular Economy Centre at Digipolis, Kemi, Finland.

The ICEI Alliance has for ambition to make Europe the global industrial circular economy platform to accelerate the deployment of world-class circular economy solutions to industry. It acts as a pipeline of business-led circular economy investment projects. Alliance members support businesses with the structuring of their investment cases as well as with accessing funding and financing streams.

On 13.09.2018 at the meeting of the VR, AR and MR platform, 5 members of the platform decided to join SPCleantech. Other companies will decide in the near future.

At the meeting also several operational decisions were taken:

  • “offer for new members” – development of promotional materials for companies from VR, AR and MR industries in the first place from Małopolska, which showed interest in cooperation within the platform and possibly joining SPCleantech.
    2.) “common booklet” – pdf in Polish and English with a description of what member companies do, what value they create, what problems they solve – to send to current members of the cluster, and to the SPCleantech mailing list
  • “SPC open day – greeting members of the VR / AR / MR platform” – this is not the name of the event, but only the working title – proposed date: 25.10.2018 (Thursday), place: AGH, time: 16:00, time duration of the event (3 to 4 hours), initial plan: presentations of the platform members + possibly presentations of partners + “introduction to the subject” + NETWORKING based on presentations of our technologies (stands), guests: current members of SPCleantech + companies that are considering joining, including especially those that will be invited as part of the platform + short animation on the SPCleantech fanpage and for the members to be invited to the event (15-30 seconds)
  • building a mailing list of VR / AR / MR companies – creating a docs (form) with the possibility of adding companies from southern Poland (świętokrzyskie, podkarpackie, śląskie and małopolskie) to the list
  • list of journalists’ friends – creation of a docs (form) in order to enter friendly journalists who will receive “presspace” with a description of the platform’s activities – all media are welcome

At the meeting it was agreed that the working meetings will be held regularly (max. 1 hour) every 2 weeksthe nearest – 24.09.2018 (Monday) at 16:30 (NordicHouse, ul. św. Anny 5).
