South Poland Cleantech Cluster

SPCleantech is co-founder of European Alliance for Cross- Industrial Circular Economy Investments (ICEI Alliance) consisting of European clusters and universities. During 2020-2021 there have been held meetings to prepare the establishment of the European Alliance for Cross- Industrial Circular Economy Investments, hosted by the Circular Economy Centre at Digipolis, Kemi, Finland.

The ICEI Alliance has for ambition to make Europe the global industrial circular economy platform to accelerate the deployment of world-class circular economy solutions to industry. It acts as a pipeline of business-led circular economy investment projects. Alliance members support businesses with the structuring of their investment cases as well as with accessing funding and financing streams.

On 03.08.2017 a meeting of representatives of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) companies found place in which also participated SPCleantech. During the meeting participants learned about the SPCleantech cluster and then discussed the industry consolidation and joint efforts to improve collaboration and the promotion of innovative VR and AR solutions for industry and business.

In the meeting participated:

  • NordicHouse
  • Berrylife
  • 11th Dimension
  • 1000 realities
  • Mofables
  • ART-Tech
  • CreativeStudio
  • Riot Agency
  • EPIC VR

These technologies are particularly used today in the entertainment industry, but more and more companies are using these solutions in practice. Many factories are already using expanded reality and speech recognition to enable employees to work in such a way that they do not have to tear their hands away from what they do to get information on a given subject. And that is just the beginning of the tremendous potential of using VR and AR in industry and business.

Fast growing industry.

With the rapid development of the industry and the use of new technologies, SPCleantech has created a new platform for Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmenteded Reality (AR). The aim of the platform is to support new innovative start-ups, companies and the use of VR and AR technologies as innovative, clean technologies in the cleantech industry.

Further meetings and discussions on the possible creation of the VR and AR cluster will continue.
