ICEI Alliance meeting in Brussels

SPClentech participated on November 22-23, 2021 in the meeting of the European Alliance for Cross-Industrial Circular Economy Investments (ICEI Alliance) in Brussels. The meeting in the hybrid form was aimed at establishing a strategy and a roadmap for the further development of the agreement.

During the meeting, a decision was made to register the association in Brussels, which will give us the opportunity to act together during negotiations with representatives of the European Commission and applications for EU funds, especially from Horizon Europe for the implementation of our projects. The meeting in Brussels was attended by Janusz Kahl, who represented SPCleantech, Magnus Persson, Paper Province (S), Santiago Cuesta-Lopez, ICAMCYL (E), Tuomas Pussila, Digipolis (Fi), Jukka Teres, KEMI (Fi), Aleš Hančič , TECOS (Sl), Jilles Colson, GreenWin Wallone (B). The remaining members of the Alliance participated in the on-line meeting. ICEI is represented by Pierre Padilla from N-Able based in Brussels.

Pia Nieminen, a representative of the European Investment Bank in Brussels, participated in the afternoon session. Pia talked about the possibilities of obtaining financial support by the members of the consortium and expressed the Bank’s will to cooperate with ICEI in the future.
