Learn more about the benefits of membership

SPCleantech as an innovative cleantech cluster supports its members in engaging and implementing innovative projects (products, processes, services, business models). In the process of implementing this type of projects, we use available EU funds allocated for this purpose European Fund for Modern Economy (EFNG) – SMART path.

For the first recruitment on May 9, 2023, an application for funds for the implementation of innovative projects using the support of SPCleantech was submitted by 5 members of the cluster, and for the second recruitment by June 30, applications will be submitted by another 4 members of SPCleantech. Subsequent calls for proposals are announced on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

FENG Goal – The SMART Path
The purpose of the FENG – SMART Path fund managed by PARP is to develop and strengthen the research and innovation capabilities of enterprises, aimed at implementing product or process innovations and digitization and transformation of enterprises towards sustainable development, as well as internationalization of enterprises and increasing the competence of staff.

Who can receive funding
Only micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs conducting business activity in the territory of the Republic of Poland may apply for co-financing.

A novelty in the current edition of the Path SMART program is its modularity.

About modules
A project can consist of up to seven different modules. Modules within the project can be implemented in a linear way (implementation of a given module is a continuation of another module) or non-linear (modules implemented independently). Support in the SMART Path may be granted for the implementation of projects covering:

  • conducting research and development works
  • implementation of the results of R&D works
  • development of research infrastructure
  • digital or green transformation of the enterprise
  • and internationalization of the company and raising the competence of staf

Obligatory modules
In the case of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, the application for co-financing must include at least one of the two modules: the R&D module or the innovation implementation module.
