At the meeting on 16/05/2022 and earlier, we agreed that the Council of krk UrbanHub will start, in cooperation with the Agency for the Development of the City of Krakow (ARMK), work related to the development of the missing Master Plan for Wesoła and will propose the creation of a working group in the City of Krakow, which will be responsible for developing a new The Municipal Spatial Development Plan for Wesoła with a proposal to introduce minor adjustments, such as the planned relocation of the krk UrbanHub headquarters building and the so-called Galicyjski Square. We are currently working on the text of the Resolution on the appointment of a Commission in the City Hall, which would deal with this task. This plan would become the starting point for the Wesoła Revitalization Plan needed to apply for EU funds for the revitalization of this area. For this purpose, it is necessary to continue close cooperation with the Małopolska representative office in Brussels. We will also want to use the funds of the Regional Operational Program (ROP) in the future.

The second task of the Council is currently the preparation of a Functional and Utility program for ARMK, along with an analysis of the plot capacity for, among others, for the future headquarters of Krk UrbanHub, marked U9 in MPZP Wesoła. This analysis is performed by a member of SPCleantech and the Council, BLOK Architekci.

We also focus on developing business assumptions based on the plot’s absorbency analysis. This analysis is needed for further work and the portfolio of the planned investment for presentation purposes. This is to serve the purpose of modeling various functional programs, so that the appropriate proportions of the “income” and “cost” functions result in the profitability of the entire investment.

All the above-mentioned analyzes will be presented at the next meeting.

We have also started work on the Nowy Bauchaus Wesoła project.
