SPCleantech actively participated on 01.03.2019 in the debate at the conference “City open to change” organized by the Małopolska Marshal’s Office in the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow.

The conference was an opportunity to present the results of the study “The city of the Małopolskie voivodship – changes, challenges and development perspectives” .

The participants of the panel discussions took an attempt to look on the urban space from the perspective of shaping conditions conducive to a better life and answering the questions:

How can you shape green areas in the city? Do urban residents engage in shaping the space around them? How to use greenery to fight smog and improve the comfort of living in the city? Information functions of urban space, disabled friendly city infrastructure, urban movements in the fight for the young.

The main focus was on two issues:

  • Play green – how to build a friendly space to live in the city
  • City open to the citizens – how to encourage residents to engage in shaping the space.

The main recipients of the conference were: local government officials, representatives of city movements, academic circles, non-governmental organizations, which in their activities dedicate space to the issues of shaping the urban space.
