Workshop in Katowice and Krakow
SPCleantech and its partners Foundation Fraunhofer MOEZ from Leipzig, EBTC, Cambridge Cleantech and ETI Dynamics organized on 3rd and 4th March, 2015 a workshop called ‘Indian Technoloy Adaption’ (ITA) in March 2015 in Katowice and Krakow. Similar workshops will also be held in Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Team of experts from Fraunhofer Center for Central and Eastern Europe (Fraunhofer MOEZ) and partners offered high-level workshops and extensive networking opportunities for European companies in the field of clean technologies (Cleantech) that are interested in entering the Indian market. With co-financing by Europad program and the Fraunhofer Society, participation in the workshop was free of charge.
The workshops in Katowice and Krakow were a continuation of the pilot project “EU-India Ecosystem & Investor Forum” (www.ebtc.eu). Fraunhofer MOEZ has for several years been working with EBTC – European Business and Technology Centre in Brussels, which mainly promotes environmentally friendly technologies in India. In cooperation with EBTC, Fraunhofer MOEZ initiated in 2013, eight projects which aim was to develop a strategy to adapt European technology to the Indian market needs.
The next joint project is to develop an Internet platform on which European companies can mix the products and services in the field of Cleantech in order to direct sales in India.
ITA workshop series is based on the results of the cooperation with EBTC and provides entry strategies developed for the Indian market. The aim is to inform Polish Cleantech sector companies about the possibilities of cooperation and strategy of entering the Indian market.
