Workshop in Copenhagen (DK)
On September 1st, 2016, Janusz Kahl, CEO in SPCleantech participated as mentor in a workshop in Copenhagen organized by BLOXHUB. During the workshop 5 chosen Danish start-ups have presented their business cases followed by a facilitated round table session, where the mentors were asked to elaborate on their background as well as relevance towards the specific company challenges and needs.
The BuildTech Programme is powered by BLOXHUB and Rainmaking Innovation and functions as a key component of BLOXHUB’s vision: supporting the growth of businesses within sustainable architecture, construction, urban development and design.
BLOXHUB wants to support both startups and established, larger companies – e.g. through cooperation between the two. This program is therefore to be seen as a first step – where BLOXHUB brings together upcoming creative forces and core companies in a tightly-knit community located in some of the most prime real estate in Denmark.
The BuildTech Programme focuses on creating concrete projects, growth and results for participants, as well as collaboration opportunities with other partners.
Aside from the focus on the “Urban Environment”, the BuildTech Programme also aims to contribute to BLOXHUB’s role in fostering spillovers to adjacent creative sectors. With the current partners in BLOXHUB (Danish Architecture Centre (DAC), Danish Design Center (DDC), INDEX, Copenhagen Solutions Lab (CSL), Kraks Fond – Institute for Urban Economix Research and International Federation for Housing and Planning (IFHP) as proximate and close collaborators, BLOXHUB aims to cross-pollinate innovation between the respective fields.
