Visit of developers from Denmark
On 26.09.2024, a group of 32 owners, directors and board members of Danish construction companies visited SPCleantech. During the 2-hour meeting, the CEO at SPCleantech presented the political situation in Poland, talked about the flood and the problems faced by the construction industry on the Vistula River. During the meeting, many topics related to the green transformation and decarbonization of buildings were discussed, also in the light of the new directive on the energy performance of buildings, EPBD, “building”. Danish developers presented their activities related to the thermal modernization and renovation of buildings carried out by their companies in Denmark.
The next day, the group visited the largest construction investment currently in Krakow, the Music Center.
The Music Center in Krakow is a new musical space for the city. Being built at ul. Piastowska 20, a modern concert hall will be the seat of two Krakow orchestras: Capella Cracoviensis and Sinfonietta Cracovia, and importantly, an open space for all residents and music lovers from Krakow and various parts of Poland and the world, as well as other classical music ensembles and organizers of concerts and festivals.
A place where music: classical, contemporary, jazz, film or experimental will harmonize with today’s rhythm of Krakow, a city of literature, poetry, art, heritage and music. A place that will set the musical pulse of the city.
The Music Center is one of Krakow’s most ambitious investments. The city orchestras, numerous festivals and the entire artistic community, which have been operating on the city’s map for several decades, expressed the need to create a strategic and modern facility that could meet the growing demand for cultural offerings.
The center’s program, which is currently being developed, will include not only symphonic and chamber concerts or festivals, but also musical educational workshops and meetings with the greatest personalities of the world of music.
The construction of the Music Center, which will house a modern concert hall with an auditorium for over 1,000 people, equipped with a stage for 120 musicians and a balcony that can accommodate an 80-person choir, a 300-person auditorium, multifunctional rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms, offices of municipal orchestras and a creative space with space for music education, is the best proof that the aspirations of future generations of Krakow residents are being fulfilled in Krakow.
