New Member at SPCleantech, TERMOCENT

 |  Category: SPCleantech News

We welcome a new member of SPCleantech, TERMOCENT Thermovision and Leakage Testing. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Krakow, the company offers services for all types of buildings, from houses and apartments, through office buildings and multi-family buildings, to industrial facilities and production halls.

The company utilizes state-of-the-art technologies in thermal imaging measurement and testing. Its employees possess the necessary qualifications and specialized education, enabling them to perform tests in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

TERMOCENT employs professionals experienced in performing audits for all types of buildings, regardless of size or complexity.

Nationwide Leaders

Products and Services

The company provides comprehensive thermal imaging testing. We provide services in industrial, office, and commercial buildings, as well as residential buildings. The company serves clients throughout Poland.

TERMOCENT performs airtightness, air quality, and acoustic tests. We conduct pre-purchase property inspections and check the actual technical condition of the building. We offer extinguishing gas measurements and measurements of industrial equipment and processes. We analyze natural ventilation and daylight. We also diagnose the causes of mold and mildew.

In addition, TERMOCENT‘s services include:

  • cold store and freezer inspections
  • energy audits
  • locating central heating and domestic hot water leaks
  • electrical installation inspections
  • inspections of insulation work
  • inspections of window and door installation and production

An energy audit is the foundation of any building’s thermal modernization.

The data collected during an energy audit is verified to ensure it reflects reality, allowing us to propose various measures and improvements. The ultimate goal is to reduce building maintenance costs.

These improvements can include formal improvements, such as changing electricity tariffs, as well as technical improvements, such as wall insulation or window replacement. Using available market offers, cost estimates for proposed thermal modernization projects are created, along with estimated energy and financial benefits from the solutions used, and the payback period for the investment.

Besides the cost-effectiveness of the solutions, criteria such as improved thermal comfort or eliminating frost penetration are also considered. The audit process and the resulting subsequent thermal modernization costs vary depending on the type of building.

RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS

TERMOCENT‘s offerings allow for the effective identification of defects and verification of the energy performance of residential buildings. The test results allow for appropriate planning of measures to reduce energy losses and verify the quality of the construction works and solutions implemented.

In addition to energy audits, TERMOCENT performs other tests, such as:

THERMAL IMAGING IN CONSTRUCTION

Thermal imaging is widely used in the construction industry. Based on a thermal imaging inspection, a company can precisely determine the technical parameters of a building or premises. A thermal imaging camera records invisible infrared radiation emitted by objects and items. The image, documenting the distribution of thermal energy, is presented using a thermogram.

ACOUSTIC MEASUREMENTS – NOISE MEASUREMENT

Noise can negatively impact our well-being and health. Exposure to noise increases stress levels, reduces productivity, and causes sleep problems. The risk increases the longer we spend in noise and the higher the sound intensity level (acoustic intensity). Therefore, adequate acoustic insulation of the partitions of the rooms we occupy is crucial.

BUILDING AIR TIGHTNESS TEST – BLOWER DOOR

Termocent performs air tightness tests on buildings using blower doors (Blower Door Test/Door Fan Test) and issues a report in accordance with the PN-EN 13829 standard with the calculated n50 coefficient (the number of times the air changes in a building due to a pressure difference of 50 Pa). By using a thermal imaging camera and/or smoke generators during the test, which allows for precise leak location, it indicates and recommends necessary improvements during the construction phase or after many years of use.

AIR MEASUREMENTS IN BUILDINGS

We spend a significant amount of time working or relaxing in buildings, so it’s no wonder that every effort is made to ensure the environment in which people live is as comfortable as possible. An important aspect of the environment that guarantees the well-being and health of building occupants is the (often unfairly neglected) air quality in the building in which we reside. It may be a service room or company headquarters, but also apartments and private houses.
