Meeting of Dialogue Forum in Krakow

 |  Category: SPCleantech News

On November 14, 2025, SPCleantech participated in the first Dialogue Forum of the Małopolska Specialization Platforms. The forum aimed to answer the question of how to counteract the isolation of individual thematic communities and inspire the creation of joint ventures within the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP).

The Dialogue Forum is a space for conversations between science, business, local governments, and social organizations that co-create the ecosystem of Małopolska Smart Specializations.

That day, representatives of the four Małopolska Specialization Platforms met in Krakow to discuss how to build a healthier, more sustainable, and innovative society together. It was a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, be inspired by best practices, and establish contacts that translate into real-world collaborations.

Janusz Kahl, President of SPCleantech, participated in the panel “Together for Effects: How to Integrate and Engage Platform Stakeholders?” The panel, moderated by Maciej Maj, Openfield Sp. z o.o. also participated in this event:

  • Dr. Dariusz Szklarczyk, Department of Society and Technology Studies, AGH University of Science and Technology
  • Janusz Kahl, President of the non-profit South Poland Cleantech Cluster non-profit
  • Dr. hab. Mariusz Sołtysik, prof. UEK, Department of Labor Resource Management, UEK
  • Dominika Walec, Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of Krakow
  • Marek Bartosz, Jagiellonian Innovation Center
  • Paweł Kulon, #OMGKRK

The Dialogue Forum is a space for exchanging experiences and jointly creating an innovative future for Małopolska. During the Forum, we discussed the development directions for four key areas:

  • Healthy Society
  • Sustainable Energy and Industry
  • Availability of Services and Quality of Life
  • Advanced Materials, Processes, and Devices

Why was it worth participating?

During the meeting, participants learned about the current development directions of Małopolska Smart Specializations, established contacts with experts from science, business, and government, learned how to collaborate within new platforms, were inspired by examples of cross-sectoral collaboration, and contributed to shaping future activities in the region.

This event was open to anyone who wants to contribute to the innovation ecosystem in Małopolska – regardless of whether they represented a company, university, public institution, or social organization.
