Congress TRENDY 2024 in Krakow
On November 27-28, 2024, SPCleantech took part in the TRENDY 2024 Congress in Krakow. The event was organized by SPCleantech’s partner, Globenergia.
The TRENDY 2024 Congress is a unique industry event dedicated to key topics in the field of circular economy (CE), renewable energy and modern construction. The event gathered experts, industry leaders and representatives of innovative companies in one place, who jointly discussed the latest trends and challenges related to energy transformation and sustainable development.
During the event, topics related to current challenges facing the energy sector were discussed. As every year, participants could expect many speeches from industry experts, networking, participation in an industry evening, as well as the TRENDERY 2024 gala. Participation in the event was a unique opportunity to gain knowledge from experts and establish valuable business contacts.
SPCleantech CEO Janusz Kahl took part in the panel “One Stop Shop” in construction – a new business model for contractors and manufacturers led by Jarosław Guzal, editor-in-chief of Termomodernizacja.pl.
The panel was also attended by director Anna Trudzik, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, Department of Prosumer Energy, and Andrzej Rajkiewicz, vice-president of the Management Board, National Energy Conservation Agency.
The panel discussed issues related to the One-Stop Shop institution, such as:
- What exactly is One Stop Shop (OSS)? What goals does it pursue?
- Where can OSS initiatives come from? Should they be created by public or private entities, or perhaps as a partnership between both sectors?
- What key features should an effectively operating OSS have? What determines its effectiveness?
- What does the creation of OSS look like in Poland? What were the biggest challenges during this process?
- What role does the substitute investor play in OSS? Is it an essential element in this system?
- Is it possible to build your own, coherent OSS system in Poland? What conditions must be met to make it happen?
- What are the risks associated with OSS, e.g. in the context of investment control and proper acceptance? How can they be minimized?
- What problems arise in working with contractors in the context of OSS? Is the lack of appropriate staff a key challenge?
- What can Poland do to effectively develop the OSS system? What actions are the priority?
- Is the Polish market mature enough to support the development of OSS? What key elements are still missing?
- Staff shortages, especially in the area of project managers and specialists. What are the possible solutions to this problem?
- How can contractors and installers be effectively trained to meet the growing requirements related to OSS and thermal modernization?
- Is the current system of periodic inspections (e.g. five-yearly) sufficient? How can renovation and thermal modernization planning be improved?
