SPCleantech organized on June 13, 2016 together with Finpro and the Embassy of Finland the “Polish-Finnish Municipal Cleantech Business Forum”. The world-class know-how from Finland was highlighted at the seminar by Ms. Lenita Toivakka, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of Finland. Minister Toivakka was accompanied in Kraków by a high-level business delegation from Cleantech sector.

SPCleantech as Pre-Accelerator Point for Polish startups organized on 23.05.2016 the second workshop of the series of 6 workshops and 2 conferences. The aim of the workshop was to provide experiences of Polish and Scandinavian mentors and coaches to Polish start-ups and mentors. SPCleantech is working with a group of experienced mentors from Denmark, Finland and Sweden.

South Poland Cleantech Cluster organized on 04.05.2016 “Business Mixer” for Members, Partners and Friends of the cluster. In the networking meeting during which a lot of contacts was created, participated representatives for companies, universities and municipalities.

SPCleantech is a Pre-Accelerator Point for Polish start-ups supported by KIC InnoEnergy and NordicHouse in Krakow. Partners have planned a series of 6 workshops and 2 conference aimed at sharing experience of Scandinavian mentors and coaches to Polish start-ups and mentors.

SPCleantech was the partner of the event “Day of Inventions – Malopolska region of European inventors and entrepreneurs,” organized by by the Funding Member of the cluster, a special purpose company of Cracow University of Technology, INTECH PK on 04/22/2016 at the Cracow University of Technology. Co-organizers of the event were: MCBE and MLBE of the Cracow University of Technology.

Lack of knowledge and experience is one of the biggest obstacles in development of new businesses. SPCleantech cooperates with a group of Scandinavian mentors, that provide your business with the needed support in relation to business development that is vital for growth.

NordicHouse initiator, early coordinator and member of the SPCleantech introduced to the Polish market one of the largest in the Norwegian market recruitment companies, Oda Connect. Norwegian company uses since its establishment in Poland the services of cluster members, DMS – accounting office and mBank, one of the largest banks in Poland.

On 29.02 – 01.03. 2016 Janusz Kahl and Alexander Jastrząbek from SPCleantech participated in a two day training organized by KIC InnoEnergy in Warszawa (PL). Research Institutes, clusters, universities and companies working with start-ups in seven Central- and Eastern Europe were invited to this workshop.

On 15th and 16th February 2016, Janusz Kahl, CEO of SP Cleantech met during a visit to Copenhagen with Thomas Klem Andersen from Scion DTU (Science and Technology Park) and with Esben Vendelbo Foged from the Danish Technological Institute. The theme of the meetings was to continue the cooperation between the institutions.
