8th conferens on thermal modernisation of buildings on Politechnika
On May 26, 2026, the South Poland Cleantech Cluster, the Association of Municipalities and Districts of the Małopolska Region, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology jointly organized a conference at the Cracow University of Technology entitled “Thermal Modernization and Renovation of Buildings – Latest Market Trends – Challenges of Thermal Modernization and Renovation Processes in Light of New National Legislation Coming into Force.”
During the conference, speakers presented significant legislative changes proposed by the European Commission and their impact on the process of improving the energy efficiency of buildings through thermal modernization and renovation in Poland. In particular, planned changes to the Building Law, new energy classes, and the new technical conditions WT2026, which are scheduled to enter into force on September 20, 2026, were presented.
The latest initiative, SPCleantech, was also presented. It is OSS krk HubRenowacji, Poland’s first stationary, Comprehensive Investor Support Point for thermal modernization and renovation of buildings. Its goal is to simplify and accelerate the thermal modernization process for building owners, both individual and those in communities, housing cooperatives, municipalities, counties, and businesses.
Members of the OSS krk HubRenowacji presented the latest technologies and interesting projects and investments related to thermal modernization of buildings.
