3rd partner meeting for CURIOST project

 |  Category: SPCleantech News

On 26-28.05.2025 South Poland Cleantech Cluster, as well as other CURIOST project partners, met in Opatija, Croatia to sum up the first two 6-month periods of the CURIOST project. During the meeting, each partner presented a short briefing on their own regional achievements in planning to lead SMEs towards a circular economy (CE).

We talked about interviews with selected companies from four selected sectors (mechatronics and mechanics, packaging, plastics and construction), as well as the analysis of regional and national legal frameworks. We described the events we organized for the business community in Krakow to create partnerships. We strongly believe that finding synergies with other Interreg Central Europe projects and the Business Environment Institution can lead us to success in reaching the right companies that need help!

After the regional presentations, a Design Thinking training was held to help our selected SMEs start designing sustainable products and implement new business models in the circular economy. Then we worked in small groups to generate the most productive ideas and share concepts. We left very motivated and inspired, ready to take the next step in engaging SMEs in the transformation process towards the circular economy. We are looking forward to working closely with companies in Małopolska.

💡 Big thanks to STEP RI – Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka for organizing such a great meeting and to all partners for their dedicated contribution!
