Workshop Smart Lab, Deloitte

SPCleantech participates in a series of meetings organized by Deloitte at the request of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the purpose of which is to initiate and develop joint project initiatives of entrepreneurs and scientific units in the field of energy-saving construction.

The first two-day workshop took place on 12-13.02.2019 in Warsaw with an evening meal, an integration dinner, which was preceded by a presentation of the assumptions and goals of the project and the introduction of the workshop on the first day of the workshop. The next meetings will be held on February 18, March 4 and March 18, 2019.

As part of the workshops, Deloitte offers a series of 4 workshop meetings, the so-called Smart Lab, to which representatives of leading, innovative companies operating in the field of energy-saving construction, representatives of the science sector and business environment institutions were invited. The meetings will be dedicated to market analyzes in Poland in the context of the potential of innovative solutions that are competitive on a global scale. During the workshops co-led by the Deloitte company and under the supervision of an industry expert – Professor Dorota Chwieduk, entrepreneurs and their scientists and business support institutions will have the opportunity to find partners to create joint industry consortia to implement new partnership and individual projects.

In addition, participants will co-create assumptions and conclusions for the industry and technology report, the so-called BTR (business technology roadmap), or maps of technological development. The report will be an informational material on the future directions of the industry, technologies, products and services development as well as ongoing R & D projects. The document will provide guidance for the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology in the field of policy development and support tools for the National Smart Specialization (KIS). Thanks to participation in the series of meetings, participants will have an influence on the recommendations regarding the manner and type of support for the development of innovation in the energy-saving construction industry in the coming years.
