Study visit of EDF in Danmark

On 12-16.11.2017, SPCleantech organized a study visit for the Management Board and managers of EDF Polska, directly involved in the development of external services in the group “Good practices in energy management in Scandinavian cities”.

In Scandinavian cities, where energy generation has been promoted and used for years, high-efficiency cogeneration and renewable sources, knowledge and good practices in energy management have come from many sources. At the same time it is done in cooperation with the local government and authorities as well as entrepreneurs and ecological organizations, based on the business model, respecting the preferences and needs of the local community.

The purpose of the study visit was to learn good practices:

  • energy management from multiple sources including: generation, delivery and accounting, long-term and medium-term planning, IT support systems, business models
  • cooperation with local government and authorities 
  • formulas of cooperation with entrepreneurs and pro-ecological organizations

EDF in Poland has almost 10% share in the energy market and 15% in the network heat market.
