How to stay ahead

On 16th September, 2015 SPCleantech participated in the conference “How to stay ahead in the race for EU subsidies?” organized in Krakow by BZWBK and Credit Guarantee Fund.

Bank Zachodni WBK SA and Credit Guarantee Fund POLFUND organized a workshop in a series of Entrepreneurs Academy. This year’s edition was devoted to issues related to EU grants in 2014-2020.

In the new EU perspective there will be allocated 17 billion on entrepreneurship development. It’s a big opportunity for the development of the SME sector, which is why the Entrepreneurs Academy presents the changes in the principles of allocation of funds, compared to the years 2007-2013 and practical tips for businesses on how to deal with complicated procedures.

The special guest of the meeting was Kuba Giermaziak, a talented young generation race car driver, competing in the prestigious Porsche Supercup series that accompanies the Grand Prix Formula 1. He showed how you can translate sport competition for business and talked about his experience in obtaining EU subsidies, that he used in the implementation of his own business projects.

Workshops was led by experts from renowned consulting firms, that specialize in acquiring EU funds. It’s people with years of experience working with  local and international projects. During the Academy the Entrepreneurs shared with participants the practical knowledge and skills, that will help in obtaining EU funds.

In this workshop, experts in the field of EU funds advised on:

  • how to win the competition competing for EU funds?
  • how one can go through the maze of regulations and prepare properly for funding?
  • how to effectively use EU funds and properly account for the project?
