6th Green Smart City Forum

On April 20-21, 2023, the 6th Green Smart City Forum organized by the University of Agriculture in Krakow took place. The main purpose of the event was to exchange views and experiences between local government authorities, universities, environmental protection funds, NGOs, entrepreneurs, residents of Małopolska and all interested in the topics of smart technologies for Smart City and Smart Village.

The president of SPCleantech, Janusz Kahl, took part in the opening panel discussion on Zielina Transformacja w Smart City.

The thematic scope of this year’s edition was:

  • Green Transformation in Smart City
  • Green Transformation in Smart Village
  • the impact of geopolitics on the development of Smart City and Smart Village
  • energy transformations and the topics of Smart City and Smart Village

The theme of this year’s edition of the Green Smart City Forum was Green Transformation: Energy – Environment
– Human. The issues of the 6th edition covered the issues of urban and rural management, with a special focus
taking into account the issues of social services, energy efficiency of public infrastructure,
innovation of technology in municipal services, biologically active surfaces in areas
urban and functional. As every year, the conference was divided into thematic and discussion panels,
covering issues related to the green transformation in Smart City and Smart Village, enriched
o new ecological trends and technologies changing the lifestyle in cities and in the countryside. green
transformation affects every human being on Earth. If we want to change the world for the better, we must take action
informed decisions regarding energy, environment and people.
